I recently built a system containing the following:
AMD FX-8320 3.5Ghz (Turbo boost to 4.0Ghz)
Sapphire HD7870 Ghz Edition OC
G-skill RipJaw x 2133 8gb (2x4gb)
Asus M5A97 R2.0
Antec Three Hundred
WD Blue 1TB
OCZ 550w PSU
Windows 7 64bit
And some crappy brand optical drive
Just wondering if the FX-8320 is gonna bottleneck the 7870 at stock/un-overclocked CPU speed (currently at about 3.7Ghz according to bios). Not really sure how to measure this.
I know a lot of people will tell me to OC, but I'm using stock heatsink/fan atm, and don't really wanna change it out very soon as I just built the damn thing. Am I going to see a massive performance boost, or just a little? Or is there no bottleneck at all?
Cheers
