HI I'm hoping someone can give me some advice. iv just bought a second hand alienware aurora desk top. the only thing I'm not to sure about is the three hard drives it came with and what I should use them for i know one is a 1T SSD drive and its the faster one of three and that is the C drive on my system the other two are just normal ones ? one has 131 GB and the other one has 920 GB .
I know this may sound stupid but if I'm playing games which one should I use ? and what should I load on the other two .

Solution

Well, normally you would just want to download stuff straight to the SSD, but in this case, you can probably just move it into the SSD and it will be fine. Make sure you CUT it, not copy. You should be fine.

Use the 1tb ssd for games and frequently used programs, it will make the programs/games run/load faster. On the other two, put pictures and videos and other downloads that you will only open every once in a while.

Hope this helps.

hi thanks for the quick response ! I'm just looking at the C drive now and the other two are empty . what should I do now just pick things in the C drive that I want to move and cut and paste them into the other two ? I've never done this before so I'm a bit worried I might move something that I shouldn't and it will crash it
