i have an asus q200e and it fell off my desk. at first it was fine, just a cracked screen, then it began rebooting itself and getting stuck in the startup options menu and it made a continuous odd clicking noise. now it is constantly stuck in a auto pc repair loop. can someone pleeeeeaaassseee help me have a small idea of whats wrong.

As stated above, it is likely hard drive because it is the most likely component to suffer from shock damage.

The cracked screen likely due to the side of the laptop hitting the floor first. There could also be internal damage to the motherboard was well. The shock could have cracked the motherboard or knocked something loose.

I would suspect the HD took a shot as well judging by the symptoms you're having, Maybe you can replace it and fix the issue, but if you've hurt the HD by dropping the computer I would hate to spend more money on it as there is no telling what else might have been damaged.

Any number of things can be wrong. Besides the cracked screen, the hard drive is probably damaged. You need to remove the hard drive and attach it to desktop PC to recover data. Then buy a new laptop.

Yeah, as everyone stated above- it probably is hard drive.

The clicking noise is probably from the hard drive reader failing to read the platter, the screen is the most sensitive part of the laptop, so that probably explains why it cracks, and the hard drive probably started to corrupt after the drop, which is why its in a loop.
