Hi,
Is it ps2 or usb.
Try other mouses and keyboards, ps2 or usb.
Just joined so I just posted as an answer so i don't know if you got my responses or not. My USB devices appear to have power but now functionality.
I have a ps2 mouse but no keyboard, but they mouse doesn't light up at all when plugged in.
I was away when this happened, but apparently, the usb device not recognized error came up a few times before it stopped working all together. That's when they powered it down
So I can boot my computer, open and close the disc tray, the fans are operating normally, and I am connected to the network, but I can't move my mouse or type anything. So fixing any drivers or going into bios is apparently not an option..
I am assuming that my only other option is to lead the HDD into another computer, and attempt a fix from there.
But if I have another option, I would rather go with something a little easier.
