Slim Optical Drive offerings for mini-ITX ridiculously expensive

SilverStone Sugo Series SG05BB-LITE mini-ITX case appears to require a slim optical drive. When I noticed that, I was only a tad frustrated, then became really frustrated when, upon searching for a slim optical drive in newegg, I found that either they were outrageously expensive, or offered only one single brand under 30$ which had bad reviews. The slim optical drive market seems somewhat in disarray as pertains desktop PCs.

What is the best cheap slim optical drive (DVD Burner) I can get for my mini-ITX build? It seems like there would be a much more established entry level market for these.

slower than full sized drives but its inexpensive

$30 is not that expensive for a drive.

Yeah there is a reasonable selection of tray loading slim drives. The problem comes when you want a slot loader as they are far less common.

Hi

be aware that many slim optical drives use a non standard power connecter.
If the PSU does not have one you need to get an adapter

they recommend slim drives on the manufacturer website.... and that is a slim drive so it should work but might need adapter as MB notd.
