I had a friend with computer expertise help me pick out parts to build a gaming computer. I got most of them the weekend of Black Friday sales, but I still need two things. My graphics card (the Asus R9 280x) was backordered and should be arriving in a week or two. The other thing I have yet to get is the motherboard. My friend recommended the Asus Sabertooth 990FX gen3/r2.0. I held off initially because I didn't find a sale and now I can't find it anywhere.
I would like to know what options I have for motherboards that can properly utilize the graphics card, preferably costing no more than $250. Any other relevant info is welcome. If needed I can share info on the other parts I have.
