Best Fan for i7-4770k at a Reasonable(!) Price

Hey,

I am about to purchase an i7-4770k and am considering also purchasing a fan for it.

Do i need a fan if I'm not overclocking? And please could you provide some reasonably priced (yet reputable) links to some good fans!

there are 2 reasons for a custom cooler:
1) as you asked, for overclocking
2) custom coolers will be quieter and will keep the cpu cooler compared to stock

the boxed coolers are tested for compatibility so if you dont want to overclock the standard one will work without any issues.

a cm 212 evo isn't very expensive and it's a decent performer
