Hi all, I just finished building a computer for the 1st time. I knew something wouldn't work seeing as it's my first time and I'm really inexperienced.. and that something happened to be the display. I have a Zotac GTX 650 TI plugged in with the PCI cable to my Corsair 650W. Everything else turns on, although I couldn't find where to plug in the front LED lights on the motherboard which is a ASUS M5A97.
Back to the display, I have the display connected to my 32 inch with an HDMI cable.. which I've had no problem with in the past. All that shows up on the TV is 'No Signal' Any suggestions?

Here's an aerial view of the M'BOARD for the LED fans problem:

(By the way, it's a Corsair 500r case)

EDIT: The graphics card fan is spinning.

Solution
Are you sure that the graphics card was inserted properly?

Was there a "click" when you inserted the graphics card into the PCI-E port ?

I am thinking you're not just inserting the Graphics Card into the PCI properly. The fan is spinning because power supply is on.
Light issue: By lights do you mean the Power LED, Hard Drive LED, etc? Those will plug into the several pins on the motherboard located at the bottom left of that image. The bunch with the white back piece above the SATA connectors. They are usually labeled in small print. Read the mobo manual for details.

Video card issue: Do you have it plugged into the blue PCI-E slot and not the black one. You need to populate the top slot first. If that is correct have you tried an actual LCD display other than the TV? I know sometimes that doesn't work right. I've had issues with my computer and HDMI connections to my tv before. Does your card have an HDMI port or are you using an adapter?

I had it plugged into the black which was the 2nd one, I thought that was the problem but I tried plugging it into the blue slot and still nothing. I tried using a different monitor with a DVI and still nothing. My graphics card has two HDMI ports on it.

It's a Zotac GTX 650 TI
Should I go through the effort of taking it apart and rebuilding it?

Positive, I've tried 2 different graphics cards now. Not sure if it matters, but I also hear no beep when turning on the computer (I've plugged in the speaker that beeps)

My suggestion would be to try the graphics card on another computer on a slot that is proven to be working to know if the problem is from the graphics card side or the board side, from there onafter you will have a better perspective to get a solution.

Display not working could be several reasons of which are bad display screen, bad cable, bad graphics card, bad motherboard slot.

Let me know to further help you,
