which one of these hard drives has better performance?

Western Digital WD Blue WD5000AAKX 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache

or

Western Digital WD Green WD5000AZRX 500GB IntelliPower 64MB Cache

i am wondering this because: the green drive has a cache that is 4 times bigger, but the blue drive has a faster rpm (7200 to 5400) the green has been verified to rotate at 5400 rpm through analysis of the sound spectrum, because WD would not release data about that fact. so what is faster?

Solution

Not worth the degraded performance that is for sure. Unless you want to pop them in a NAS for occasion back ups. Seagate dropped them completely from their product line.
