Hi everyone, I am looking a desktop replacement gaming laptop and have narrowed down on the Alienware 18 and the Razer Blade Pro. I was looking for any personal experiences with these two laptops or any other rivals of these laptops. This is my first experience really with gaming on laptops as I have recently moved from console gaming to pc gaming.

Instead of buying a pre-built, overpriced computer, you should learn how to build your own.
It's very easy and will save you thousands.

Also, i wouldn't recommend getting a laptop for gaming.
They can't be upgraded so you're gonna have to buy a new one in 3 years.

I've been researching the blade pro too. From what I've read, the razor blade pro is really really pricey but you get a very good extremely thin(macbook like) gaming laptop. But for less you can the alien Ware. While it's very bulky and not as beautiful as the macbook- like razor blade, you can get a dual sli configuration with lots more storage for maybe the same price as the razor. I personally price be dammed, would by the razor blade.

And the only reason I haven't bought it is cause I spent a good amount of money on my desktop which has a gtx 780, but I hardly use it only when I want too look at a something pretty (graphically) haha.

That is not true the Alienware laptops are upgradable and if you visit alianware a service channel they show you how on YouTube. I own an alianware 17 and have upgraded it in 15min.
