Okay, so today I bought the ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+, FX 8320 and the Coolmaster 212 Evo. I installed all of them and tried to boot it, but no post. There isn't even any signal on the tv. My Gfx card is the XFX 7850 and I have the Gskill 8 gigs of ram with a rosewill 600 psu. My previous build with my old components worked fine.

I've checked if cables are connected, re-seated all components, and took the mobo out put it on its box and run it from there. Nothing worked. Please help me.

GSkill 1333 4x2 8gb ram. I tried re-seating and they are working (they still were a few hours ago)

I tried reseating each individual ram stick in all the slots but still nothing. Will CMOS resetting work? If so, how can I remove it? Or can I flash the bios? I heard there is a feature where you can flash the bios without booting.

Ive just built a new rig with the same mobo a few minutes ago and it wont post, there's a green light on the mobo at the bottom but otherwise nothing. Checked for everything in the guide above bar a bent pin on the CPU, I have a funny feeling its the front panel plugs, my case doesn't have a + or - P LED but Ive put the rest in according to the manual to the best of my knowledge.

What luck, lol. But that sucks man. I've been trying to do everything in that guide for hours and still to no avail. I'm about to give up and RMA the board

Do you think it's defective? what have you been doing?

Everything, Just did the paperclip trick but it didn't work, fan on the PSU didn't even start, but as soon as I unplugged it and put the connection back into the mobo the green light came on again.

PSU is a OCZ OCZ-ZS650W-UK ZS Series 650W '80 Plus Bronze'.

Seeing as the paperclip test didnt work I tried my old PSU and it works :bounce:, looks like an RMA for this PSU so. My old PSU is a Hiper 580w Type R, it has enough juice for what Im running but its 6 years old and from before a time when everyone made sure their PSU was 80+ Bronze. I cant resist not using this new rig right now, and a new PSU wont arrive until after xmas, just hope my old PSU doesn't damage any of my new components while I wait for a new one :ouch:.
