Hi, after my PC recently failed to operate anymore... I have decided to follow my friend's advice to build a custom PC instead of buying those from HP.
Here is a list that i have came up with after a week of research on parts and asked advice from different friends.

MOBO Asus Maximus VI Hero ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
CPU Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
RAM 8G Kit 2133 G.Skill Ripjaws-X (2 x 4GB)
Storage Samsung 840 EVO Series SATA3 (250 GB)
Seagate SATA3 (2TB)
Video Card 2G GTX 770 Gigabyte OC or Asus 3G R9-280X (depends on stock avaliability)
Case Thermaltake VN300M1W2N Chaser MK-I Full Tower Case
Power Supply Corsair 80Plus Gold RM650
Optical Drive Pioneer SATA DVR-220 OEM DVD RW
Operating System Windows 8 Pro
Monitor 27” 4ms Benq GW2760HM
Mouse Razer DeathAdder 2013
Keyboard Razer Deathstalker
Wireless Adapter TP-Link WDN3800
I come over different articles that saying the i5 4670k has overheating problem. And I am not sure what kind of cooling parts do I need. I don't want to spend$$ on something that i don't even know if it will help or not.
I plan to overclock the CPU ( my friend told me is better to get i5 4670k and overclock then just getting a i7 4770.
Any feedback or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your help!

Build looks good. And yes, k series parts are easier to overclock than the others. Consider a few things though, higher PSU wattage, 750 maybe. It will be better when you want to upgrade in the future. And make sure you get a good CPU cooler. And remember that water cooling such as the h80i is not as good as some if not most air coolers. Water cooling provides a false sense of protection from overheating. Check out Nactua's coolers, they are great. Other than that, this build is really solid!

Hope this helped!
