I have had an intel i5-2500k for about two and a half years. I've never really checked the core temperatures until today since I keep everything stock. All 4 cores are idling at about 95C and when I push the load by playing a game, it stays around the same temperature. My computer runs fine and it doesn't crash but is this normal? Judging by other posts, there is something horribly wrong.

I have the stock intel cooler and a gibabyte z68ma-dh2-b3.

It sounds like you have a faulty sensor(s) in the processor or you have a bad pgm reading the temp. Since the temp never changes, I'm going to assume it isn't actually that hot. Try some different temp pgms. Core Temp, HWMonitor, Speccy...
