I'm setting up my first SLI rig ever, and i currently have a Palit GTX 670 (gonna buy another one soon). I was wondering what things i need to know before i go into setting up this SLI rig. I've done single-card builds before.

Things I'm told to take into account:

Getting an sli bridge cable
having sufficient power (i have a 1000w PSU)
having room for 2 cards.
making sure the 2 cards are the same in terms of clocking etc.

Anything else? I'm a real noob at this, so please anything would be a real help. Any cables I could be missing/will need to buy? that kind of thing

Solution
The motherboard must have at least 2x PCIe x16 slots, with both running at x16/x16 or x8/x8
SLI bridges usually comes with the motherboard, if it supports SLI.

"The GA-Z77X-D3H also includes all of the standardized Z77 enhancements like mSATA, Lucid Virtu MVP, Quicksync, 3D BIOS; as well as support for 2-way SLI and Crossfire." Just found that on a review site (source: http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/gigabyte_z77x_d3h_motherboard_review,2.html) doesn't that suggest SLI support?
