Hello Everyone! I had a couple of quick questions before the holidays get underway since I'll be building my wife a computer for some moderate gaming. However, aftermarket cooling and overclocking is completely foreign to me and I don't know what will fit on our rigs.

I'm running an i5 3570k, and she will be running an FX-6300. I currently have the stock cooler installed, but since I plan on immediately overclocking hers, I figure I might as well do mine too. I'll list all the components that matter below.

Hers: Gigabyte 970A-UD3P
FX6300
GSkill Ares 8GB (2x4gb orange ones)
Asus 650 ti boost 2gb
Apevia Sniper 2 case (shows 7.75" width)

Mine: Gigabyte z77x-ud3h
i5 3570k
Gskill Ares 8GB (2x4gb blue ones)
Sapphire Radeon 7870 ghz oc
Thermal take commander msi snow edition? (shows 8" width)

I purchased one of the Hyper 212 Evo coolers to test, and im concerned with whether or not it will fit in these cases and whether or not it will interfere with anything on the boards. (I should have checked prior but the guy at microcenter said that majority of people buy this cooler but I didnt know it was so big.)

I'm still waiting on a few parts to come in on the mail so I can't really test it myself unless I put it on mine and I'm not sure if my wife will be too thrilled if I'm cannibalizing parts from her build to "test".

Any help is GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks everyone.
