Hi guys.
So I built a new computer about a week ago, and for my PSU I got a FSP Aurum 1200w Pro Modular Power supply.
Thing is with this power supply, it has a weird kind of cable that I don't know the name of. Here is a pic:
What it looks like
(Tried to embed a image but for some reason not getting the confirm account email sent through)
So, when I plug this cable into the my rig - my computer will only turn on when I hold it at a specific angle (and only if I hold it there). But it makes sharp electrical sounds, and the inside of the plug (on the cord end) looks all burnt up.
I've gone around to all the local stores and none of them have ever seen a power cable like this before so it's hard to get a replacement. Is there a specific name for this kind?
Computer runs fine as long as power makes its way into the PSU, so the PSU seems to work fine.
Any help would be most welcome. If you need any further information just ask
