I have a gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R motherboard. I decided I wanted to upgrade from 6gb (2x2048mb, 1600mhz, 9-9-9-24, 1.5v) of corsair XMS3-1600 RAM to a set of G Skill Ripjaws X ram which is 8gb (2x4gb, 1600mhz, 1.5v, 8-8-8-24).
After removing the old corsair ram and installing the new g skill ram, my computer refuses to boot. The fan comes on, lights come on, but the display does not come on.
I removed the g skill ram and put my old ram back in, but my PC still has the same issue. Won't boot....why.
I've never posted here before, if I haven't provided enough information please ask and I will be happy to supply any details that I may have left out. Thanks.
