Hi, there. I'm new to this site but I'm hoping that someone can help me with my dilemna. I'm currently in the market for a PC. I've finally found the one SPECIFICALLY made for music producers and I couldn't be happier with the find. Only, there's one teeny problem. The installed video card may not be enough for what I need it for.

I'm not by any means a serious gamer. Infact, I play the same two games for over a year. What I truly need this computer for is music production. However, I would like the option of having a strong enough video card for playing games likes Terra Online, Blade and Soul, Skyrim, etc

The graphics card that comes with the PC is an Ati RADEON HD 6450 1GB. I've heard that this card isn't recommended if I want to do some gaming on max settings. I was thinking of buying the PC anyway and switching out the 6450 for a more powerful one. Will that work for me?

This is a link to the website of the PC that I'm buying... http://www.music-pc.com/vortex-ultimate

What graphics card can you recommend that will be strong enough to meet my needs and is compatible with the motherboard? I would just build my own PC but I'm afraid I'll probably do more damage than good. Thank you for your help.

Solution
The link for your machine doesn't work.
The GTX 650 Ti boost is the best value card that will will run these games with the highest settings.
Skyrim needs 2GB of video RAM if you want to run mods improving the game graphics.

Thank you for your answer. I fixed the link. Please, I need more feedback. I'm trying to purchase the right PC for Christmas. Again, thank you for your time.

You can go up to an AMD 270X or Nvidia GTX 760 with the included power supply (GTX 760 is faster).
