Made a few substitutions for better bang for the buck parts. IIRC the Hyper 212 EVO comes with thermal compound. The Fractal Arc Midi R2 is a fantastic case, plenty of space, cable management, great airflow, room for watercooling, removable drive bays, and a window (smoked which looks excellent IMO). The Fractal R2 fans are good choices, they match the ones in the case, are quiet, and not terribly expensive.

Just note that when you have a 1080P 27" monitor, things start to not look as sharp. I would not go over 24" with a 1080P resolution.

As for cases, that is more a personal preference. Hop on Newegg and browse around for something that you like the looks of. Corsair, Fractal Design, Lian-Li, Silverstone, and BitFenix all make some excellent cases.
