I bought dell ubuntu laptop and installed windows 8 on it by splitting partition into two, without removing ubuntu files.
Now I have Windows boot loader so can't boot ubuntu. I installed easy bcd(bcd editor) and tried adding new entry, but when I booted into ubuntu grub opens and I don't know what to do.

Please mention step wise procedure to start ubuntu

NB:- Ubuntu previously installed is dell customized and has all ubuntu drivers, if I use other version of ubuntu then my wifi does not work

Windows erased your grub loader when it installed, this is why you always see install windows first because linux is a little more friendly about sharing.
Easiest and good to have around is to download a live copy of Ubuntu and burn it to a dvd. Use that to boot the computer and install boot-repair to it. Boot-repair won't actually install on the dvd, just run, but it would on a live usb if you want to go that route.
Accept the default fix and it'll reinstall your grub for you and add windows to it.
