Hi, this is more of an open discussion for opinions rather than a post for a definite answer.

Okay here's my current spec:

MoBo: GA-990FXA-UD3
CPU: FX-6300 @3.9GHz (was at 4.5 but had no reason to be therer)
RAM: 1x8GB DDR3 @1866
GPU: Geforce 760 ZOTAC AMP
SSD: Kingston v300 111GB
1TB hard drive

I'm currently using a TV that's native resolution is 1360x768. But it goes to 1080p.

Picture looks great but at 1080p I noticed while gaming that things are off it's at like 59Hz and there's delay so I noticed gamplay feels better with v-sync off.

I wanna upgrade my monitor but If I go to SLI I'll most likely get 80-150FPS in my games. Currently in BF4 I get like 45-120 depending on where I am on multiplayer, CoD:Ghosts stutters and FPS won't show with fraps on it, etc.

I'm wondering if I'm looking to hopefully get 120FPS what would be best price/performance to look for? G-Sync, regular monitor, or a high Hz TV with low latency. Also color wise too cause my TV only has good greens other than that it's very... Boring.

Solution
I would personally get the asus monitor that supports the g-sync,
you'll notice less of a lagg feel even at the lower fps range 30-40 because of the less stuttering, and so forth.

the 144hz monitors don't do justice unless you able to produce 144 fps, but g sync allows a verticle sync at lower fps ranges too, (game spikes will be less of a problem)
Theres not really any low latency high Hz TV since they all involve processing, and even so they look crap, nothing like true 120FPS.

G-Sync is targeted at removing input lag and vertical tearing, this is already resolved through the use of a 120/144Hz refresh rate, so personally think its pointless until its implemented on a 60Hz IPS/PLS display, but I can't say I've used it so thats just me talking crap.

If it were me I'd be waiting for a G-Sync IPS/PLS display, the 120Hz displays are already good enough to get rid of vertical tearing, at-least in my opinion. Though, you can pretty much get this ahead of time (and a crap load cheaper) by importing a Qnix/X-Star from Korea, had two can't recommend them enough, 1440p, 96Hz guarenteed (120Hz if you don't mind dulled colours), no input lag, PLS, only $300. Might sound like a shill but they are a steal at the price they are at.

Thank you for your reply. I'll look into that. I'm looking for 24in. My TV is 26 in so i dont wanna feel like im losing too much size you kknow

How does a 120/144hz refresh rate solve it? You still get tearing or some latency (though less than 60hz monitors), and it is impossible to get 120 FPS on a lot if not most games.

The tearing at 120Hz to me is completely insignificant, you have a 120Hz montior I'm sure you are aware of the effect.
