Honestly, I don't think you should be overclocking if you don't know what a 3rd party cooler is. Just make sure you have a good cooler, not the one that came with the CPU. You have to have an unlocked BIOS, if you purchased this system from a manufacturer such as Dell, HP, Acer, or any of that sort, you can't overclock. Now you will have to enter the BIOS. When you get into it. Find the CPU multiplier for all of the cores. Set each one to 40. After that find something called the Ring Multiplier, set that to 33. Now find something called the CPU voltage. You will have to reduce this later on so don't try to get the lowest voltage possible when you are just starting. Now, once you set that to about 1.25, head to a voltage called CPUVIN set this to 1.8. Now find the cache voltage and set it to 1.2. Now you have set the timings and everything. Now just reboot the system and download a program called Prime95. Once you get it, run the test called Small FFT's. If you can get it to run without crashing and the temperatures are ok, you have successfully overclocked your CPU, you can now head to the BIOS and start reducing the CPU Core voltages until you lose stability. Once that happens, revert to the last successful voltage. There you go. I highly recommend that you do not do this since you don't even know what a 3rd party cooler is.
