I have a Dell Dimension 8400 that was working perfectly this morning. It have 4GB RAM, Intel CPU, Dedicated graphics and Windows 7. It was at the user screen when I left the room. I came back an hour later and noticed everything was off. I tried to power on the machine but nothing happened. I tried pulling out the plug, pressing the power button for 15 seconds and then plugging it back in. No hope. The power button had a blinking YELLOW light around it. After about ten minutes of me trying to fix it, it no longer it lit up. There is a small green light on the motherboard and a light around my Ethernet cable. When I click the button to power on, nothing happens, no fan, nothing. What is the problem? Some forums I was looking at said that yellow light meant dead power supply or motherboard? But how am I getting a green light and a light around the cable if its broken? Please help! Thanks
