I am finalising parts for my first build, which will be for three main things:
-gaming
-recording, maybe some streaming
-editing/rendering videos

How well will the 4670 handle the workload? And if not well, what about the 4670K, or if you could recommend a better CPU for what I want, that would be awesome.
Thanks in advance! :)

A few questions:

1) What are your current specs? And if you're building a new rig, budget?
2) Prioritise your needs - some CPUs will be much better for streaming but slightly worse for general gaming, but may also be better for editing/rendering.

It's a new rig. I have ordered no parts yet, but I am finalising the list. In Australia (where I live), the cheapest place generally to get parts is PC Case Gear, an online store, and buying everything from there, it would cost around $1800. I don't have that kind of money yet. *this response is longer than it needs to be but I'll get there*
My girlfriend's dad owns a business, and his computer guy gave him a rough quote of cost price for my build; I'm just awaiting a full quote.
I'm also heading over to Thailand in Jan and will be heading to Pantip Plaza (7-storey IT Plaza), and may get some stuff from there, depending on this pending quote. Sorry that was a bit round the point, but yeah, retail, looking at AU$1800

I have no experience whatsoever with over clocking, but I have a PC genius of a mate who could do it if need be.
