I have a Corsair H55 cooling my AMD FX 8320 OC'd to 4.4ghz (1.4v). During idle it sits around 45-48 degrees and during games like battlefield 4, it shoots up to 64 degrees. Those temps seem way too high. Is there an air cooling solution in the $30-$60 price range that would offer better performance? I have a Corsair 540 Air Case, so size is not an issue, Thanks!

are you looking at the actual core temps or the socket temps? idle seems high though, that seems to me either bad case air flow or bad thermal paste. Idles temps should be lower even with stock cooler in a good cooled case and proper thermal paste.

I used the stock thermal paste on the cooler, And the cable management and everything is great since with this case the psu, ssd and everything is in a seperate chamber, so its literally just the mobo, cpu, and gpu in the main chamber with minimal wires coming through. It has two 140mm corsair fans on top, a thermaltake fan on the radiator, and two corsair in the front, the fronts are the only intake. I know corsair fans arent good, but i dont think it would make THAT big of a difference.
