Ok, so my PC will have the following components:

- CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K Quad-Core Desktop Processor 3.5 GHZ 8 MB Cache BX80646I74770K
- GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 770 Superclocked with ACX Cooler 4 GB GDDR5 256-Bit Dual-Link DVI-I/DVI-D HDMI DP SLI Ready Graphics Card 04G-P4-3774-KR
- HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2 TB 7200RPM SATA 6 Gb/s NCQ 64MB Cache 3.5 Inch Internal Desktop Hard Drive, Retail Kit (STBD2000101)
- MB: MSI Computer Corp. Motherboard ATX DDR3 1333 LGA 1150 Motherboards Z87-G45
- PSU: Corsair Professional Series HX 750 Watt ATX/EPS Modular 80 PLUS Gold (HX750)
- RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory F3-1866C9D-16GXM
- Case: Thermaltake Chaser A31 Mid-Tower Chassis VP300A1W2N

Do I need liquid cooling or any additional cooling for this PC? I don't plan on overclocking right now, but I expect the PC to be at near to full performance while rendering on 3dsMax with V-Ray.

So far, I only have the stock cooling for each of the components, and the fans the case comes with by default.

Thank you in advance!

I don't know what "good" is......... but I've been surfing and working on this computer for 10 hours today. I'm running a Corsair H90 on the cpu. the side is off the case and the case sits 2feet from my ear......... can't hear anything.......... no pump/no system fans/no gpu fans/no ps fans............... the hotest it's gotten all day is 35c. the rest of the cores run between 33 and...

Not saying this is completely wrong, but I never understand this argument... most good coolers have at least 1 if not 2 fans + a pump... a good air cooler only has fans.. by default I can't see how a water cooler can be quieter than the same fans running on an air cooler due to the pump.

They make full out custom watercoolers for everything, but those take a bit more know how than the average person who pieces together a rig every 4 or 5 years have. I would just toss a Cooler Master Hyper Evo 212 on top of the chip for $30 and let it go. Nothing else in that rig should run hot or need additional cooling as long as you have a few fans in your case.

But an Air cooler with the same fans on it would be the same volume less any potential noise from a pump. I'm not saying water coolers are loud or anything of the sort I just see many people on here tell someone to get a watercooler b/c it's quieter... makes zero sense.

No argument with that its a very good cooler as well. water coolers all have fans too is my point (well all of the closed loop ones anyway, saw some crazy rig that had 55 gallons of coolant that just circulated... but that doesn't count.
