Hi all!
I'm completely new to this forum, but I've had the most frustrating day trying to re-install Windows 7 on a desktop computer.
First the motherboard died, so I replaced that, then the graphics card died, and that got replaced.
Now I've formatted the harddrive and have to re-install Windows.
I boot up the installation DVD, and it gets to extracting installation files, somewhere between 20% and 60%, and then it just shuts off without warning.
I've tried everything I can think of, I've check ALL cables, and I've changed everything I've dared to in the BIOS. I've tried at least 20-30 times, and it's the same every time. I'm completely lost for ideas
I'm not sure what other informations are needed to help, but I'll do my very best to answer any and all questions!

Motherboard: MSI G41M-P33 Combo
Intel Core 2Quad Q8300 2.5GHz 4MB S-775
Graphics card : Zotac Geforce GT610
Western Digital harddrive (forgot which one)
