I need a laser printer that will exclusively run envelopes.

I have been printing on a HP Laserjet 4200 for over 15 years. It has been a work horse for me and my job. (They no longer make this printer) It prints 11 envelopes per minute and has an envelope feeder that holds 75 envelopes. I have tried other HP printers, Lexmark and Konaka Minolta printers but either they break with the volume that I print or they are slower than Christmas and I have to send them back. I print about 3,000 envelopes a month, sometimes more sometimes less. I looked online and there is only an inkjet printer that will do 100 per minute but it is over $6,000. I would be happy with one that will do 25 per minute and under $2000. Anybody have any ideas???

Hi, I am also looking for printer for envelopes, but I have an added problem.
I use window faced and the plastic melts in the laser printer. Have you come up with an inkjet that
works at a reasonable price?

Get a HP LaserJet that takes an envelope feeder (search for "envelope feeder" on HP.com, if you just google it you will find models that are out of stock). They usually hold 75 envelopes at a time and go on black-and-white lasers only.
