dont have them plugged into surge protectors and only directly into the wall otherwise it kills the signal.

is it possible that some device plugged interfere with signal? is there any device or something to check which one it is? is there a filter i can plug to interfering device?

Anything with a large motor like a floor fan can cause interference -- putting the motor device on a 4-6 foot extension cord works as well as any interference suppressor out there. Also, do not use them on GFI circuits.

Powerline adapters don't exactly hit their marketed values. You are now getting about what I would expect. HERE is a good site to see what speeds to expect for different adapters.

so it won't get any faster even with filters etc. :/  damn just spend 30 pounds on 3 of those d-link with a hope of fast file transfer. oh well thanks for info :)
