I neglected to buy a 3-pin fan splitter with my case. It has a front fan and a back fan. until i can grab a 3-pin, which fan should I use?

Solution
Rear exhaust is more important than the front intake.
Although with the right adapter, you can connect them to the power supply. There might be one included with the fan, or sometimes with the PSU as well.
You can use either.
If your front fan has a filter, I would put all my fans there. It will keep your case cleaner.

Many motherboards will have multiple fan headers. Does your's?
Or, many fans have a molex connector, and you could attach it directly to your psu.

Splitting a two 3 pin fans will not let you sense speeds correctly.
