Windows 8 Operating System not found

So I recently updated to windows 8.1 (latest updates and drivers for my system installed)

But Windows 8 seems to freeze up randomly completely to the point where I can't even bring up the task manger so the only option left is to shutdown. But after booting up again the computer gets stuck on the windows 8 startup loading page. So again I have to shut the computer down and restart but this time I get presented the "Windows 8 Operating System not found" error. So I have to use start up repair from a bootable usb. This has started becoming a very annoying cycle with this OS. Any solutions?

this evening I have this problem too..

and I dont know how to solve since the solution here was nothing could make a difference..
so I try my self..

I use Acer laptop e1 470 G.
i3 with nvidia 720 m

when start and acer logo displayed as fast as possible hit f2 to enter the bios.. or whenever the key provided.. may be DEL or f12 or anything..

then change your boot .. its available 2 options.. UEFI boots and legacy bios..
change to legacy bios..
and whupp! its start again..

I plan to repair start up..
