Just put together a new PC running Windows 7 64bit specs are as follows

motherboard ASUS|M5A97 R2.0 970 AM3+ R

videocard ASUS|M5A97 R2.0 970 AM3+ R

PSU CORSAIR|CMPSU-650TX 650W RT

CPU AMD|6-CORE FX-6300 3.5G 8M R

MEM 4Gx2|G.SKILL F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL

HDD 1T|ST ST1000DM003 7K 64M %

and a cooler master heat sink and fan

We Just purchased these components and put this PC together yesterday and it has all the newest drivers etc. I had to work however so I didn't get to play any games yesterday. Upon playing games today whenever I launch lets say Borderlands 2 or Battlefield 4 the noise begins and continues until I exit the game. It is sort of a low buzzing. It almost seems as though it is coming from around the PSU. We thought it might be the video card but we swapped it out for a known working video card and the buzzing still continued. The computer is completely silent when not under stress. I was trying to get a sample of the audio but I couldn't as the fans were drowning it out creating too much feedback for it to be heard. Just wondering if anyone has any idea what may be going on/ if it is serious or just inconvenient. Thanks.

Sounds like it's the PSU doing its coil whine. Send the PSU back for a exchange.
