I am building my first gaming computer and I came across 2 mobos. The ASUS M5A78L or should I pick the MSI 970A-G43. Please explain why I should pick either of them.

Solution
1) get the HD7770 for the games PC
2) HDD you need the 7200rpm one, not the 5400rpm.
3) Buy the RAM in kits like 2X4GB or 2X8GB because the manufacturer test them in the kits so that they will work with each other.
4) If you live near the microcenter, then you can go to the store for good deal, I mean pick up only. http://www.microcenter.com/site/products/amd_bundles.aspx

Here is the list:
Memory: G.Skill Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($68.00 @ Newegg)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($50.44 @ Amazon)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition 1GB Video Card ($84.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $203.43
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)
