hello, i recently bought a new desktop (in february)

ever since i got it i've not been happy with my performance in wow compared to what i payed and the specs it has. recently it's gotten way worse (to give an example, today i got ~30 fps on siegecrafter 10 man with choppyness, if anyone here plays wow)

i really want this fixed since my guild is going 25 soon and mythic + just in general on 10 man.

if anyone could link me to something where i can benchmark it or something to analyze if its performing badly that would be greatly appreciated.

i'm not sure if its underperforming in other games, i could run metro 2033 on max with pretty much 60 fps constantly

my specs are:
16 gb 1600 mhz kingston ram
gigabyte amd radeon 7970 superclocked 2 or 3 gb, can't remember. from what i remember when i bought it it had a good clock speed of 1100 mhz or something
i7 3770k 3.5 ghz quad core
antec earthswatt 650w gold psu
samsung 840 250gb ssd
2tb hdd for random stuff
corsair obsidian 650d case, i dont think heat is a problem. i replaced the top fan with 2 140mm corsair fans
asrock extreme4 motherboard
asus ve276q monitor, running 1920x1080 res
secondary monitor ibm 1280x1024 res for browser, movie etc.
logitech g510 keyboard
razor naga molten
windows 7 home premium 64 bit

i'm fairly sure all the power pins are connected to the graphic card and whatnot, there isnt any other places where they can be inserted
i'm running EVERYTHING on lowest except particle density and view distance which i have on good and high

i should have all the newest drivers, for the graphic card i have version 13.9
i don't think theres any drivers for the cpu? everything else should be fine, i have 20/15 cable internet
the main monitor is plugged into the video card

i don't think theres anything else, if anyone can help me fix this problem i would be so happy. its pissing me off so badly, shouldnt it be able to run wow with a lot more than what it does? i payed in total $2700 for it all so i don't think this is cool that its so shit performance

whoever helps me get this fixed, i will forever love you

i was hoping i could run with atleast 60 fps in 25 man

to be honest i dont care about the graphics, what is really pissing me off is that i cant even run with a decent fps with everything on lowest

Your system seems powerful enough.

Just to test to see if it is a GPU bottleneck, lower the resolution to 1280x720 . That will be considerably fewer pixels to deal with and drastically lower the load on the GPU.

If it isn't the GPU, then you have a load on the CPU. The i7 should be ample. But you may have some applications running that you don't need.

Configure as many applications as you can find (like stream and origin) so that they do not start with windows.
Uninstall any applications that you do not require. Add ons, tool bars, java, anything that you don't absolutely need to run what you want.
Configure what is left not to look for updates while you are gaming. That usually means that you will have to attend to those updates manually, but at least it won't interfere with your game.

Disable windows 'AERO'. It is a resource hog.
And while you are gaming, make sure that you close all unnecessary windows and programs.

Lastly, you could try a service like 'gamebooster'. It will shut down all non-essential OS services while you are gaming.
