Here are the parts I'm deciding for my build:

-Cooler Master Cosmos II
- Intel Core i7-3930k
-Noctua NH-D14 SE2011
-ASUS P9X79 PRO
-NVidia GeForce GTX 770 4GB x2
-Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR3 1866MHz
-Samsung 840 EVO 500GB
-SeaSonic X Series X-850 850W

I am trying to play games like Skyrim with 150+ mods installed. These mods include HD textures. I have a single 32" monitor. I want to know if all of these parts are compatible. I also want to know if any parts are unnecessary or if I need more of something. Please just answer the best you can.

Yes, but there is no need for a lot of the stuff you have. The most I recommend is an i7-4770k with a Maximus VI Hero motherboard, as games do not use 4 cores, but mainly 2, so there still isn't a lot of improvement from the i5-4670k. I will recommend using a GTX 770 or GTX 780, as games do not benefit from SLI unless you're using multiple monitors. If you don't need that much space, the Corsair 750D or Air 540 are great high-performance cases.

First off, thanks for the reply. Now, about the case, I wouldn't know exactly how much space I need. I chose that case because there is a 2 hour long video on Youtube that uses it for a high-end build; it explains how to put everything together. Now, to use multiple 2k - 4k TEXTURE mods, wouldn't I need more than a GTX 780? I know that they use a lot of VRAM and so I want to make sure I have no trouble at all with getting 45+ FPS with everything on max settings. This is my first time building a PC.

I see you want a "real-life" experience with skyrim :)
What is your budget? I will build the best possible computer with that money.

I am currently at $3200. I'd prefer to stay around there. I'd love to see what you can come up with since you seem to know more about these things than I. I really just don't want to deal with inconveniences when playing with everything "up there."

For just the desktop (no peripherals eg. keyboard, mouse, monitor, OS, etc.): http://pcpartpicker.com/p/2n2TM

In one of my previous questions, someone told me I wouldn't need water cooling. Besides that, this case comes with 5 pre-installed fans, I don't believe I need 2 GTX 780TIs, and that $3200 is including peripherals; OS, Microsoft Office, Keyboard, & I haven't decided on a mouse. I'm not trying to sound rude or anything (no vocal tone makes me sound that way). Besides all of that, this case has style :)
So, do you know if all of these are compatible with each other? I believe they are, I just want a little more assurance.

Everything is compatible with most cases, just make sure it supports ATX motherboards and has 2x120mm fan space on the roof and everything will fit. For GPU's, use two of these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127754

Keyboard: Corsair K95
Mouse: Corsair M95
OS: Windows 8.1
Office: Office 2013

Thanks for all of the replies. I think I'm going to stick with what I have; those Lightnings are costly. I feel quite confident in this set-up. Thanks again.
