Case fans with speed switch in BIOS?

I recently picked up a few of these fans for my computer case. They actually have a manual speed switch on them which varies how fast they go.

My question is if I plug these into the CHA_FAN on my motherboard, will I be able to control them via the bios still? I am using an ASUS P8Z77-V LK motherboard. I have noticed that when I plug them in, it'll act as a normal case fan (higher when hotter, slower when more cool) but it'll still vary in speed with changes in the actual speed switch.

Is there a way to get the full range of the rpm without having to manually switch the fan speed on the switch?

You will still be able to control them in the BIOS, if it allows you to. Just be aware that the speed set by the BIOS will be based on the position of that built-in switch, so I recommend setting them on high and adjusting to the desired speed in BIOS.

Ahh I guess what I was hoping for was to be able to have the bios set the fans to the low end of the built in switch while not under heavy load, then switch the fans to the high switch while under load. Having best of both worlds.
