How does this build look? Everything compatible?

This is what I've come up with for just over 1.2k AUD, but I've got a few questions;

1. Is it all compatible?

2. Could I improve anything/keep performance while lowering costs?

3. Is my PSU good enough to power this build?

I've put together the build on PC Case Gear (australian site), so if you want to change anything on my build please use their site - www.pccasegear.com - to choose parts.

Here is my list of things I'll be buying for my first build:

CPU: AMD Fx-6300 - $145

HDD: WD Cav blue 1tb - $69

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P

RAM: G.skill Ares DDR3 1600 MHz (2x4gb) low profile - $99

OS: Windows 8 64 bit - $115

Case: Cooler Master K350 - $59

Monitor: BenQ 24" RL2455HM - $199

ODD: Asus DRW-24D-3ST

GPU: Gigabyte r9 270x OC - $259

PSU: Antec HCG 520W - $89

Mouse: Gigabyte m6980X Laser mouse - $35

Anti static: wrist-strap - $7

Total: $1215 AUD

Thanks!

-Better case and stronger gpu.
-Increased the psu by 100w and it's also semi-modular.
-Smaller and cheaper monitor.
-Better motherboard for just a little bit extra.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I only want to buy from one, maybe two retailers. PCCG have very reasonable courier costs and other sites such as CPL have terrible reputations.

Using all PcCaseGear. For the case, you have two options. However, they are the same model just different colors.

Thanks :). Do you recommend the MSI 760 that you listed or is the $309 gigabyte 760 better? (Bundled with splinter cell).

Also, will a 21" monitor make a huge difference compared to 24"?
