So I don't know a whole lot of stuff about computers but I currently have a MSI N460GTX Cyclone 1GD5/OC 1GB Overclocked Graphics Card and I want to know what I could crossfire with it. Any with 2GB? I would like to have a total of 3 unless 2 is just as good. I want to have enough for when next gen consoles let PC push forward.

Solution
For xfire/sli typically you have to use identical cards, with a few exceptions. When using a card, one 1 gb model, and 1 2gb model, it will be limed to 1 gb as they wont share resources just the work load.
It wont double performance or available resources, but its about 80% more work load accepted because there is a second card to process data.
If you want something that will last, or even be good now you will need a new single card. Single cards offer more performance per dollar, and sli/xfire low end cards isnt worth it.

So how does it help people? I thought it was to increase VRAM
