Hey everyone, i'm a first time PC gamer and have just placed orders for my parts. Was wondering if you guys could give thoughts.

Radeon 270 OC 2GB
AMD FX 6300
ASUS M5A97 R2.0 AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s
NZXT Tempest 410
SeaSonic M12II SS-620AM 620W
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB Kit (4GBx2) DDR3

I plan on playing modern games such as Battlefield 4, Arkham Origins, etc

Was wondering how well this would run it?

Also, is it possible to install Windows 7 with a USB? Since I didn't purchase a disc drive.

Solution
Actually the 270 is a rather capable card. That CPU shouldn't bottleneck it at all. The 270 with a factory OC can average around 55-60fps on high settings and no AA.

The motherboard selected is not going to work with the intel processor, you will need to get an intel board as opposed to the AMD one that you have. Other than that, the build looks pretty solid. You will be able to run BF4, maybe not on ultra though, but still have good FPS. And it is possible to download via USB, you will need another PC though, to get the OS from the disk to the USB.

Overall good build, hope this helps!

What cpu cooler are you using?

Build looks solid, but with the 270 and 6300 you won't be running Bf4 on ultra settings (1080p)
most likely medium settings at 40fps with that cpu as well.

and yes you can boot from a usb. I do it all the time.
here's a guide.

You will then have 30 days to activate with a windows 7 key
