I've been having this problem for about a week. I get no DVI Signal after I wake my computer from sleep or boot it up from a shut down. Nothing at all. Doesn't show the motherboard screen or the Windows 8 start up. Everything on the computer will run fine, but no video signal.

I've looked everywhere and checked the common issues, but nothing seems to fix my problem. The only temporary "fix" that seems to work is resetting the motherboard by removing the battery. If I then shutdown or put the computer to sleep for a period of time (usually about a day), it will go right back to giving me that annoying issue again. Of course, if I can actually get the computer to start and run, everything I do goes fine. I can max out Planetside 2 and Assassin's Creed Black Flag with no problems, as well as browse the internet and play music.

My stats:
CPU: AMD Fx-8350
GPU: GTX 770
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3
PSU: Corsair 750w 80+ Gold
Windows 8 (installed on SSD)

It's kind of like the driver for your motherboard, but is not really a driver. Nevermind about that lol.

Yes there might be a newer bios version available for your motherboard.

But be careful, there are five(!) different versions of the Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3, and they all use a different bios. You cannot mix and match.

Check the box to see what revision you have.

Hm. Revision 4. I believe I did actually update the BIOS to version F2, and that's the latest version apparently, however there are some drivers on the their website that I don't remember installing.

I feel so dumb, haha. I thought that @BIOS was a driver update utility. Thanks for helping:)
