This is going to be my first ever build, I kind of wanted to future proof it so just in case I went with the i7.

What are the things you will do with this PC? If gaming then i7 doesn't do much for it. Would be perfectly fine with i5 and less money spent or spend the money on a SSD for OS to speed up your boot time.

It's pretty much for gaming and college stuff, I've heard people say to go i5 but then a few seem to think i7 could come into its own so to speak more in the future. I know watchdogs says it needs an i7 for recommended settings.
