Hello everyone.

Recently I want to purchase a graphic which allow me to play DotA 2 with full graphic setting.

But my CPU is too old and some of the the graphic card may not supported by my computer.

Therefore, I seek for some suggestion to get a appropriate graphic card for my computer.

This is my computer specification.

CPU: AMD Athlon(TM) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor
Motherboard: GA-M720-US3
RAM: 4GB
Current Graphic Card: nVIDIA GeForce GT ]9500.

Thank you.

If looking used video cards maybe good buy is GTX 560 448 core gpu. They do OC really well and faster than same price competition. Other good buy is Ati 7870 / New R9 270x

You cpu is not so good buy AMD do have really good and cheap options. So maybe best is look 4 or 6 core cpu.
I did buy couple weeks ago AMD 965BE really cheap deal. And best was I did find cheap mobo for this cpu.
Gigabyte 990 FXA UD3 And it supports new 8 core cpu too. And new video cards.
Only thing issue can be that it needs DDR3 memory. And they can be bit expensive. But u can find cheap deals then too. Make sure you have big enough psu for video card you are buying.

Thank for your reply.

From your suggestion, I think I need to change processor and motherboard at the same time in order to use the graphic card?

No. I just think you cpu will be bothleneck for faster cards. But you can and it is better buy faster card and update later CPU or mobo + cpu for better :)

I see. It might take some time. Cause now my budget just enough for one card only. That's why I need a card which can fit into my PC for 2 years longer.
