Black screen when attempting to use my processor's built in video display

Hi guys, I wish you can help me with my processor's on board video.

My specs:

Motherboard: P8H61-M LX3 R2.0 http://
Processor: I3-2100 http://

Gpu: Sapphire 7770 http://

This is my problem, I never really used the onboard graphics of my processor (hd 2000) because I had my gpu with me when I first assembled it, Then last week I tried to clean my gpu and my brother at the same time needed to use the computer, then I mounted the display directly to the igp port at the back of my motherboard and to my surprise it was only black screen, no boot whatsover. the cpu fan is spinning for 2 seconds then off, then on and off over and over. Me believing that I've damaged the motherboard, tried to mount the gpu and viola it worked, so my motherboard is not dead.

I've done these so far:

I've accessed the bios and selected igp, save and exit then removed the gpu , put the vga cable in the igp port (didn't work)

Bios then selected igp, put the cable in the igp port without removing my gpu (still black)

and everytime I do this I have to do a cmos reset to use my gpu.

Can anyone provide any more tips? thank you.

Yes, but as I said the unit turns on for 2 secs then turns off (led fans lighting and spinning).

I put the video card back on and it works, my guess is either the motherboard is not recognizing the built in display of the processor or the processor is actually the culprit.

There is nothing wrong with the cpu cooler sir, as I've stated I'm pointing at either at the processor or the motherboard, but I'm limited in hardware and I can't test which is which.

Can you guys offer me more tips to do? Thanks in advance.

now I've tried another processor (g620) with no luck, still no boot after plugging the vga into the igp port of the motherboard, now im pretty sure it's the motherboard.
