hi

I know this may not be the right place to post this question
so I'm really sorry, any admin can move this post to the right place.

I have this assignment which is comparison form ms-dos till windows xp and Unix
the comparison is about:
(user interface-multitasking-virtual memory-multiusers-multiprocessor-portability & openness)

I already wrote the user interface and the other comparison except for portability & openness
I'm not sure what's the meaning and what should i write

I think openness stand for Source model ?
so should I write for ex: WinXP is Closed source and Shared source ?

for portability I think it means that a program could work on any other os that supports Java
without having to be ported, but I'm not sure what should I write.

btw for the other comparison except for UI, portability & openness I wrote (Supported and Not Supported)
is that okay ?.

thanks :)

For $2400, if you can handle a little bit more weight, you can have a LOT more power than the Razer will ever offer.

$2400 is a fully-tricked-out 15" with a 680m, i7 extreme, SSD, bluray, 16GB+ RAM, secondary hard drive, 95% NTSC 1080p anti-glare screen and the works.

Yes, it will be a bit heavier and thicker, but who cares about a couple tenths of a pound and a fraction of a inch thickness when it almost triples your performance and makes heat a non-issue?
