To determine power requirements I would need the model of the card not its form factor, noit all low profile cards use the same amount of power.

Hello,

Lower profile GPUs need less power than let's say enthusiast cards (from 7870/660 to gtx 780/r9 290x). A Power Supply of 400-450W will be enough for cards below that (different case if you crossfire two lower end gpu cards).
All in all, you'll be fine with a 400-500W PSU. Even a 350W PSU will be fine in some certain situations.
Although some lower end cards do use more power. Could you link the GPU you're willing to buy?
Hope this helps^^

Most low profile card don't have a big cooler so their wattage can't be that high (more watts=more heat)
Model would help us all

A 300w PSU would be fine as long as it has 19a or more on the 12v rail.
