does storage improve browsing speed?

hey so i have a computer and it has a hdd and an old one too, when i enter a link it loads but it took like 3-5 seconds first then loading fast, in my laptop i have a better hdd and everytime i enter a link it constantly load so is that the hdd that effects my browsing?

It sounds like you may have internet caching turned on in your one computer. It saves a copy of pictures and other content so when you go back to a page it loads them from the hard drive rather than downloading.

Try Firefox, Internet Explorer, AND Google Chrome to see if there are differences between them.

In that case I am probably wrong because chrome uses a smart caching system automatically. Is there a difference in the amount of ram?

I don't think I really understand your problem.


I don't know what you mean by "constantly load." Do the pages start loading but NEVER FINISH?

nope, it just load at first for like 5 seconds then it loads fast so for the first 5 seconds the page is blank it's like it doesnt load ,but after re installing windows it loads like normal again :)

If I'm viewing this correctly, you picked YOURSELF as the "Best Solution"? Probably that wasn't intentional.

I seem to have the ability to click "Pick as the solution" as well even though I didn't create this thread (I've never tried). I think there's a problem with the software.
