I have just purchased a wireless PC to Xbox adapter so that I can play games with an Xbox 360 controller. (I will add a link to the product below.) I have installed the driver and the PC recognizes the product, however the controller refuses to connect to it. Any solutions would be much appreciated.

This is the product in question: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00D1CE75I/ref=oh_de...

Hey Guy, I had the same issue. Go through and read some of the reviews, they give you step by step guides on how to get it working. It's fairly easy once you have the driver and set it up properly.

More specifically, these are (more or less) the steps I took... There is also a Win7 install guide there as well, I'm just assuming.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In case anyone's having trouble with this on Win8 x64 this is how I got it working:

1. Run setupstb.exe from the software folder on the CD.
2. Once complete, go to device manager, right click the unknown device (should be plugged in at this point remember).
3. Click Update Driver and run through the wizard specifying you will choose the driver from a list of devices.
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the list and choose the Microsoft XBox option, and on the second list choose the 360 receiver driver dated 2012.

That's it, you should be good to go!
