Hello!

I have a question, here is my hardware:

i5 4670K
780 TI
16GB
Z87-pro
Noctua NH-D14

If I overclock my CPU to 4,0Ghz or 4,2. Will I notice this while playing games? Will my FPS increase etc.?

Thanks in advance!

You will notice a difference in process intensive games such as Battlefield 4, but in non-intensive games, it will be hardly noticeable. With your GPU, you might as well overclock because if you are playing BF4 (or some other demanding game), your CPU will be the limiting factor at stock speeds. Plus, why not? You have an aftermarket cooler.

Okay! Thanks!

..and, do you guys know about a nice overclocking guide? (will be my first time :D)

I dont have to overclock my RAM to overclock my CPU, right? Do I have to use any burntest or something to test it at the end?
I'm only going to clock up to 4,2 I think.

Yes, you have to use a burn or stress test to see if the overclock was stable, and it will be a lot of testing if you really want to get the best, most efficient overclock that you can. If it's your first time, look at this:

Oh, and you shouldn't have to overclock your RAM unless it starts to bottleneck, but I could be wrong because I have 1866 MHz RAM stock.
