Hey!

I currently just got my computer system built. And I am an engineer student who wants a decent graphics card. May you smart geniuses please help me!

Motherboard:
ASUS P8Z77-V PRO LGA 1155 Intel Z77 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Ram: 2X
Crucial Ballistix Tactical 8GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Low Profile Desktop Memory Model BLT8G3D1608ET3LX0

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Core:
Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 1155 77W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4000 BX80637I53570K

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

PSU:
Antec NeoECO C NeoECO 620C 620W ATX12V 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Power Supply

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

and the graphic card I really wanted is:
AMD 100-505649 FirePro V4900 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.1 x16 Workstation Video Card

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Do you guys know if it will fit? Would a graphic card with a PCI 2.1X16 fit into a PCI 2.0X16?

Please and thank you!

That motherboard has two PCI-E 3.0 slots so there's nothing to worry about.
PCI-E is a standard slot, the version determines how much bandwidth and voltage the slot gets.

A couple other notes on this system:
-That motherboard is likely overkill. You can probably find one with everything you actually need for under $130
-Low profile memory is unnecessary for this build. I use it in mini-ITX systems where every millimeter counts. If you don't need a bunch of other expansion cards you could put all this on a mini-ITX board (I'm fond of the ASRock z77E). You pay a premium for mini-ITX but still not as much as the one you have picked out.
-620w is also overkill on the PSU. 400-450 will be more than adequate. I'd also try to find an 80+ Gold or Platinum rated PSU unless you really need some extra heat in your room.

Sweet thanks for your advise! I just wanted to make sure the graphic card will work with the set up I currently have. I just thought AMD didnt work with Intel. Sadly its to late to change up my set up because I've already bought everything and got it all built besides the graphics card. Thanks again! And majority of the things I got were on discount, so hopefully that helped a little. What graphics card would you recommend?
