My friend just got DayZ Standalone and he can't run it he keeps getting this error when he tries to launch it from steam.

Windows XP 32-bit
2 GBs of ram
Radeon FireGL v300
Some Intel Core 2 Duo processor

Been searching for 3-4 hours and i cant even find anything on this issue :\, any help would be great.

Well the DayZ standalone is made from a shelled out ArmaII engine, so that error is because the DirectX version is not compatible with what the game needs to run, or that the game runs out of video memory, as i recall that error being.

Not exactly, it's the video card/driver that's the problem, sorry. It seems that you dont have enough video memory allocated, or that the DirectX version you have installed is too outdated.
